Acts in Temple Street is an autobiography of Pastor Samuel Lai Chun Moon, the “Temple Street Pastor”, affectionately known as Uncle Sam. This book is a chronicle of Uncle Sam’s ministry in Temple Street, much as The Acts of the Apostles (“Acts”) documented the work of the Holy Spirit, Acts in Temple Street documented how the Holy Spirit transformed Uncle Sam from a drug addict and peddler, a gangster, a police officer, and a prisoner, into a rightful son of the Heavenly Father, and Temple Steet into Jesus Street in an era characterised by prevalent drug abuse and prevasive corruption.
